Killer NC Confederate Side Knife that made its way to a modern gun show in Colorado Springs!!! These knives are featured on pps 162-164 of Confederate Bowie Knives by Sexton. They are listed as being made in NC but the maker is unknown. No doubt these are by the same maker. 12 3/8" Blade, 17 3/8" Overall, 1 5/8" Blade Width. Nice, dark blade with a beautiful clip point. Walnut grip is intact with no chunks missing. Brass guard and ferrule have a nice, mellow patina and the tang is peened through a brass washer. A really nice example of a arsenal made Confederate Side Knife. Price is $2850 with shipping included
Rare US Cavalry Lance with eyelets for a guidon. 9'11" overall. Blade is 11 1/4" long out of the shaft. The blade is iron while the collar and the grounding iron are brass. No markings that I can find but I had a US Lance that was IDed to Rush's Lancers (6th Pa Cav) and it had the same brass grounding iron. 3 eyelets attached to the shaft for securing a guidon. A section of the original leather wrist strap is still attached. Patina is knee deep on this one folks!!! Not listed in Brown's Polearms book but right as rain and scarce as hens teeth. If you have a US guidon, you need this to display beside it!!!$1495.........Shipping on this will be tough.......Buyer will pay actual shipping but expect it to be $200ish. US mod 1860 Cavalry Saber made by Emerson & Silver, Trenton, N.J. This saber was actually made under contract for the State of New Jersey and is so marked on the ricasso. Much rarer than a standard 1860 Cav Saber!!! The grip is somewhat salty and missing some leather but the wire is still tight. The grip, guard and pommel are still tight and the peen is undisturbed. The full length blade retains most of its original polish and is knick free. An above average blade especially as rare as the NJ marked sabers are!!!$450
